Ready to Teach German is run by Francisco Javier Sibaja Gálvez, a sole trader, at Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU, United Kingdom. You can contact us at any time at hola@readytoteachspanish.co.uk.

This site is for teachers. It is not for pupils, and we do not ask for or want any information about pupils. Please do not enter pupil names or any other pupil information anywhere on this site.

When you create an account we collect your email address, an encrypted version of your password, the date you created the account, and whether you have agreed to receive news and offers from us. We never see or store your password itself.

We also keep basic technical records that our hosting and database providers generate automatically, such as the times you sign in, which we use to keep the site working and to protect it from misuse.

That is all. We do not collect your name, your school, your address or your payment details.

We use your email address and password to give you an account and let you sign in and use the lessons. The legal basis for this is that it is necessary to provide you with the service you asked for.

If, and only if, you tick the box to say so, we will also email you occasionally with news about this site and with offers relating to our other products, which are Ready to Teach Spanish, Ready to Teach French and Ready to Teach German. The legal basis for this is your consent. You can withdraw that consent whenever you like, either by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any such email or by emailing us. Withdrawing it does not affect your account, which carries on working exactly as before.

We use the technical records to keep the site secure and running. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in protecting the service.

Your data is held on our behalf by the companies that host this site, run its database and deliver our email. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass it to anyone else except where the law requires it.

We keep your account details for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and the email address that goes with it.

If you have consented to marketing emails and then withdraw that consent, we stop sending them immediately and keep only the minimum record needed to make sure we do not email you again by mistake.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in while you use the site. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run analytics or tracking on this site.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw your consent to marketing at any time.

To exercise any of these, email hola@readytoteachspanish.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so that we can put it right.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant and you have an account, we will email you about it.
